UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay ATCG will provide construction management services for a new 289-bed hospital located adjacent to UCSF's existing life sciences campus at Mission Bay that will include: City of Palo Alto, Civic Center ATCG will provide construction management services for infrastructure improvements of an eight-story, 112,000 square foot concrete high-rise building located in downtown Palo Alto. Some of the enhancements will include a new generator, roof repairs, and MEP upgrades. Lockheed Martin B178 (Fleet Maintenance Facility) Provided project and construction management services for a new 8,000 square foot maintenance facility for mechanics to repair forklifts, cargo trucks, and fleet vehicles. It is the first building in Sunnyvale, California and for Lockheed Martin to earn the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. PDL BioPharma Provided turnkey services for the expansion and relocation of PDL BioPharma corporate headquarters from Fremont, California to Redwood City, California. The fast track project consisted of two, five-story buildings totaling 419,622 square feet. Gilead Sciences Provided turnkey services for a new two-story steel-framed pharmaceutical research laboratory and office building with an attached 152-seat seminar and lecture hall located in Foster City, California. Los Angeles Architectural Award, Ennis House The Ennis House was honored with the Preservation Award at the 38th Annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards hosted by the Los Angeles Business Council (LABC). The awards celebrate the most laudable projects that improve the quality of architecture and enhance the urban fabric in Los Angeles County and were selected by a thirteen member jury of distinguished peers including architects, developers, and contractors. Alfa Tech Cambridge Group provided construction management services for the seismic upgrade and restoration of the textile block house originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1923 and constructed in 1924. Los Angeles Conservancy Preservation Award, Ennis House The Ennis House received the Los Angeles Conservancy's 2008 Preservation Award for demonstrating outstanding achievement in the field of historic preservation. Projects are selected by an independent jury of experts from the fields of architecture, preservation, and community development. THEA Award, Skirball Cultural Center, Noah's Ark Exhibit The Noah's Ark received the 14th Annual THEA award for outstanding exhibit. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) is a nonprofit international organization representing over 6,500 creative specialists. Since 1994, TEA bestows the annual THEA award to recognize and honor the achievement, talent and personal excellence in the creation of outstanding visitor experiences, attractions, exhibits, and places. Alfa Tech Cambridge Group provided construction management services for the Noah's Ark exhibit including budget development; general contractor, consultant, and vendor procurement; and construction budgeting and administration.
